Humboldt Fellow from 1987 batch. Formerly from Atomic energy, he is now full professor in Indian Institute of Technology. Secretary of Humboldt Club, Bombay since 1992 and became president in 2003. He is also fellow of Royal Norwegian Society for Science & Technology. He is visiting Professor, Germany, Japan and France and winner of Mascot Award and NACE Award for Corrosion Awareness Promotion. A dynamic individual, he is known for his ability to organize National and International conferences and technical courses in well organized manner. He was first to use the Humboldt Colloquium Scheme and organized first regional Colloquium in Bombay.
